The MyChron4 E-box is an optional upgrade for the MyChron4 karting gauge. The E-box provides extra sensors:
- 2 temperature sensors (including exhaust gas (EGT), cylinder head (CHT), or water)
- Wheel speed sensor
- Track mapping with an internal G-sensor (accelerometer)
- extra battery for extended running time
The functions provided by the E-Box are similar to the MyChron3 Gold features. In developing the E-box, AiM Sports leveraged CAN (controller area network) technology from the autmotive racing world. Simply connect the E-box to the MyChron4 and the extra functions are instantly enabled.
